Ewan

Hey YOU! What are YOU doing? Welcome back!

Today is actor Ewan McGregor's birthday. If I were a real journalist, I would tell you all about Ewan, you know, how the heck to pronounce "Ewan," where he was born, a dossier of his projects, his current love interest and even his age. Since I am not (and let's face it, there is no staff here), we'll simply share lots of pictures because he's hot and has a nice accent. I will say, my favorite Ewan McGregor movie is "Down With Love" (with Renee Zellweger). I owned this on DVD until my home was robbed/burglarized/ransacked, etc.. (bastards).

"Kev" (that's me) is STILL reeling over the upcoming Stevie Nicks concerts. For those of you who haven't visited my home, let me just tell you, I'm creating a shrine. (A tasteful/Hard Rock Cafe-like shrine). You'll have to visit.

Not sure what is happening in Hollywood this week? "We" hear Jessica Simpson has been hospitalized for a kidney infection. (Sad.)

In politics, things aren't looking good for Senator Clinton. If she does not win the nomination, I am simply not voting at all. Small minded? Perhaps.

In better news, "Kev" was asked to participate in yet another Starbucks survey. Each time I do this, I get a $10 gift card. The stakes, however, have been raised and IF I win, a cool grand, yes, grand in Starbucks bucks will be mine. (I don't know why I am writing this - it's not interesting.)

Okay, I am bored so I am going to bid you adieu for tonight. I hope you are ALL enjoying your week.

Much love to you -

"Kev"

Earth Half Hour

It's SUNDAY (bitches)!

Hope YOU are having a good day, wherever you are.

It's a little chilly in the A-T-L today, where the second annual ING Marathon took place. (I could see runners and hear cheering from my window.) The marathon traversed 26.2 miles throughout metro-Atlanta neighborhoods. If YOU ran, "we" say, "CONGRATS" and "GOOD FOR YOU!"

Star Magazine reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married on Saturday in New Orleans. People Magazine is reporting that this simply isn't true. (Can't these reporters get it right?)

I told you I dream in "celebrity"... Last night was no exception. I dreamt about Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox. We were painting someones bedroom, having a grand time. Jen and I playfully threw paint on one another, laughing, etc... I don't know why I dream what I do, but it's always fun.

"Kev" will be front row/center for Stevie Nicks' concert in Boston this summer. Yes, I have a ticket for Row A, Section 2, Seat 15. It doesn't get any better than that - the seat is exactly in the center of the stage.(Exciting, for sure!) Here's a visual for you...

The even MORE awesome fact about my visit to Boston is that I will get to visit with "Princess I," my dear piano teacher. I am super excited to see her.

Did everyone take part in "Earth Hour" last evening? I have to admit, I forgot about the event until it was half over, so it was "Earth Half Hour" at my place. We hope you did a better job than I did. Here is some information about the event...

Earth Hour 2008 was a remarkable global event, and in towns and cities across America people "turned out" to lend their voice to the worldwide call for action on climate change.

On March 29th, people everywhere turned off their lights–to make a statement, to help find new ways to reduce their impact on the environment, and to start a movement that ends with a solution to the common challenge we all face.

Millions of Americans–in Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, San Francisco and dozens of other communities large and small–joined mayors, citizens' groups, schools and corporations from coast to coast. Around the globe, people on five continents took part, from Albania to Zimbabwe, Bosnia to Uzbekistan, Canada to Uruguay.

Earth Hour broke down boundaries. Never before have people from so many different backgrounds, cultures, and geographies come together to press for urgent change. Never before have governments, NGOs, businesses and average people called upon each other and the world to find a new direction.

That unity inspired millions, and with that same spirit we can move forward to find answers to this most urgent of problems. And the time to begin is now.

Earth Hour 2008 made a difference. Millions of people around the world continuing the commitments we have made–changing our lives and encouraging others to do the same–will change the world.

Visit worldwildlife.org/climate to find out what you can do throughout the year to fight climate change, and check back to earthhour.org soon for details on Earth Hour 2009.

Okay, that's IT for today. Have a good week y'all!

Love -

Enchanted

Today marks our 445th post! Welcome BACK bitches!

How are you today? We hope you are, as always, s-w-e-l-l, swell!

Today is Mariah Carey's birthday. Mariah is 37 (or 38). I don't know. 41? That's right, she's 36. 37? I don't care too much one way or another. Let's say she is 37 (or 38).

Did everyone watch "American Idol" last night? Did you see David Cook's rendition of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean?" It scared me a bit, but I loved it. (Who doesn't enjoy a good scare now and then?) Anyhoo, if you missed it, you can check it out here...

Just a friendly reminder - "Enchanted" is now out on DVD! I never fancied myself a Disney fan, but with hits like this (and "High School Musical"), they've made a believer out of me. Who wouldn't love anything with Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden or Zac Efron in it? Anyhoo, "Princess," I hope you enjoy your copy of the feature whilst you travel on hols later this week.

Okay, I know you were just getting comfortable, but you have to leave now. That's right. Get out of here. Scoot.

Remember that Tony-award winning show I have been talking about all week? "Kev" is off to see it again, this time, the way it was meant to be seen - from the 5th row!

Have a GR-EAT night. Hugs, kisses, you know the routine -

Sesame Street

HELLO! It's YOU! C'mon in.

I'm still thinking about last night's show, "Avenue Q."

Here are some clips in the same genre as the show...

We're All A Little Bit Racist

Welcome back, EVERYONE!

Did anyone catch Britney Spears on "How I Met Your Mother" last night? Unfortunately, "Kev's" cable has been out/down/not workin', etc., since Friday, so let "us" know how it was, would ya? The clips on YouTube looked cute.

If you haven't seen "Avenue Q," go see it! This Tony Award-winning, adult version of "Sesame Street" is now playing at "The Fox Theater" here in Atlanta and "Kev" was lucky enough to join friends for tonight's performance. It was slap your knee funny. I have wanted to see this show for years (it was playing in London when I was in London), so I was very happy. It lived up to my expectations. I loved the "bad idea bears" (which I think represented peer pressure) and "Lucy The Slut" (actual characters). "It Sucks To Be Me" was uplifting. It was the kind of evening I really enjoy too - nice dinner/drinks/conversation with friends. A walk to the theater, great show, nice walk home, etc... I wish you ALL could have been there, even YOU. (Thanks, Ken, for coordinating.) Anyhoo, here's a YouTube clip (sorry for the poor quality) of a song I enjoyed... "We're All A Little Bit Racist."

Okay, that's IT for today. I hope you ALL (even you) have a GR-EAT Wednesday!

Love,

"Kev"

More Dreams (For Sale)

GREETINGS, bitches!

How are YOU today? This will be a very short post since "Kev" has a headache (yes, it's hurtin' pretty bad - it's the start of allergy season here and I feel it something terrible).

Just recently I wrote about some of the dreams I have had (I told you I dream "in celebrity"). Last night was no exception. Guess who I visited with last night? KATHY GRIFFIN! Kathy and I were at the airport (not sure which one), waiting at a vacant gate for our flights, both to different destinations. I was very excited to see Kathy and was even wearing my "Main Gay" tee shirt. I told Kathy what a big fan I am and that I have seen her show an impressive 5 times. I asked her to call my friend, whom you all know as "Princess," and Kathy agreed! Kathy left a voice message for "Princess" and I missed my flight. (And then I woke up.) I don't know why we dream what we dream, but I always enjoy my dreams.

Okay, my head hurts too bad to write anything more. I hope you all have a GR-EAT Tuesday!

Much love -

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter (bitches). (LOL!)

"We" hope YOU have a nice Easter Sunday.

Muwah -

"Kev"

P.S. "We" have re-designed the "Kev's Corner" tee shirts. They are two-tone in color (light blue shirt with dark blue piping around the collar and arms) and "Kev's Corner" is written in a gang-like font (very edgy/scary). "We" will share a prototype on the blog. You bitches are going to have to work harder to get one this time around, however.

Dreams Unwind, Love's A State Of Mind

Mornin' ho's! It's SATURDAY (yes, my favorite day of the week).

C'mon in. You can't stay long though (mama's got yoga class).

Yesterday I mentioned that Brad Pitt has appeared in my dreams more than any other celebrity. A friend and I were discussing this (you know, I always have deep conversations with friends) and I feel the need to clarify... The first point I need to clarify is this... Unfortunately, none of the 13 dreams featuring Brad were of a sexual nature (honest), although 12 of the 13 implied that we were in fact a couple. In one of these dreams, Brad and I worked side by side for Habitat for Humanity, building a home for a family in need (in Beverly Hills). We were the only two crew members. After each integral phase of the home's completion, Brad and I would slap one anothers back side (and wink). In another dream, Brad and I were riding zebras in South Africa. I am not sure if you can ride a zebra in real life (or if they will kill you), but in my dream, you can (and they are friendly and they talk with a silly Australian accent, even though they are African). Anyhoo, it was a beautiful day in the Sierra and we commented on how the locals were so friendly (as well as the zebras we were riding). In another dream, Brad had just gotten a new "hog" (translation for the gays: hog = motorcycle) and "Kev" rode bitch (translation for the gays: bitch = passenger). I am glad Brad appears in my dreams on a regular basis. He's a nice man - I hope you get the chance to dream about him as well. The second point I need to clarify is... Brad is NOT the person who has appeared in my dreams more than any other. (Although he is the most fequently featured celebrity crush.) That distinction, as you may have guessed, belongs to Stevie Nicks (and I really used to write those dreams down). I have had so many Stevie Nicks-related dreams that I can't recount them all. Before I met her in real life, I used to dream that I was "this close" to meeting her - always within steps but she would elude me every time. I would wake up mad at the missed encounter. After I met her, the theme of the dreams changed to the fact that we knew each other and are friends. We have had dinner together (again, in my dreams) more times than I can count. Dinner is either at her house or the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Scottsdale (because I read that is one of her favorites). We've played piano together and written songs about the men in our lives who did us wrong. I worked the crew on her "Rock A Little" tour, watching her perform from the wings. I shook her tambourine (non-sexually, of course). We've had many years of memorable encounters (all made up in between REM cycles), for sure. Anyhoo, I actually LOVE to dream and the majority of my dreams are fun (I don't typically have bad dreams). If this blog ever goes x-rated, I will tell you about the night David Beckham dropped in. What are your dreams?

Okay, I gotta get to yoga class. I hope all you bitches, ho's, Kitten's, Poodles, Princesses, etc..., have a GR-EAT day. (I love you all!)

Yours in him (Brad Pitt, that is),

"Kev"

Friday's HOT Guy...

It's Britney bitch. (Just kidding. It's "Kev.") That song, "Gimme More," is playing in my head. It's a year old and I still love it - it's catchy.

WUT UP HO's? ("Ho" is also a term of endearment. My friends and I call each other that all of the time.)

It's GOOD Friday, so HAPPY Good Friday to all you (ho's). It's also time to feature another HOT Guy.

I have to say, Brad Pitt has been one of my favorite actors and "HOT" guys ever since he appeared in the 1991 hit "Thelma and Louise." He had me at... well, you know the rest. Brad also holds the distinction of appearing in my dreams more than anyone else. Thirteen times - I journal every one of them. (I dream in celebrity.) These days he's making the world a better place (rebuilding New Orleans/adopting third-world children, etc...).

Okay, what else? Britney Spears' father remains in control of her estate and it is being reported today that he is selling some of Britney's 7 cars. (I feel like there should be a smart ass/witty comment here - anyone have anything to say about this?)

Both Rosie O'Donnell and Matthew Broderick turn 46 today.

"Kev" now has seats for 3 of Stevie's 4 upcoming concerts! YAY! Unfortunately, none are in Row 1. (Rows 2, 3 & 4 will have to do.) There are also a number of other GREAT concert tours this summer, so "we" hope you will catch a show or two and then tell "us" all about it.

Alright, I think that is IT for today. If you are traveling, like our friend "Kitten II" (I tried to switch one of the Kitten's to "Poodle" but neither were buying it), be safe!

Much love -

"Kev"

Namaste Bitches

People can take everything away from you,
But they can never take away your truth - (or your Rusty Joiner pictures)
But the question is...
Can you handle mine?

-Britney Spears, "My Prerogative."

WELCOME BACK! What? It's what I'm listening to. (Don't judge.)

You know, yesterday's picture of downtown Atlanta left me with a feeling I didn't like. The storm looked like something movies are made of, didn't it? So, today we are forgetting all about scary tornados and "we" are sharing photos that make "us" (and you too, I would bet) feel good.

You have seen these pictures here before, but they bring me to a "happy" place... (Coincidentally, this is a pretty fair representation of my stream of consciousness on any given day.)

That's IT for today.

Namaste bitches!

Scary

Hey bitches!

Can't write much now but wanted to share this picture, courtesy of "Kitten II" (the Atlanta Cat), of the tornado that touched down in Atlanta last Friday. Again, I am glad I was not home. This is close/close enough to my home as well as some of yours.

Bye for now -

Hey Eugene

It's TUESDAY people! Welcome back!

Let's shake off those sad songs from yesterday (they were "heavy," weren't they?) and enjoy "Hey Eugene" by Pink Martini (it makes me laugh a little).

Believe me or squeeze me, that's IT for today. "We" hope YOU have a GR-EAT Wednesday!

Twisted

First, HAPPY 41st BIRTHDAY to BILLY CORGAN of the Smashing Pumpkins. Billy was born on St. Patrick's Day back in 1967. Some of you know that "Kev" (and "Princess") attended the same middle school as Billy AND Billy grew up in the home next door to "Princess," whose parents still live there (but not for long). As much as "Kev" likes to think he has met a celebrity or two, "Princess" has really topped us. She even has pictures with Billy, but she never gloats about it. (I can only tell you that Billy was in my P.E. class and my yearbook contains pictures of Billy, but I don't recall ever talking with him, unfortunately.) It is "neat" that someone from the same town (or the boy next door in "Princess's" case) made it. Not only made it, but made it big. It's also a coincidence that I was just in Chicago last week and "we" were talking about Billy when THIS song played on the radio. While I always just tuned into the violin/cello parts when I heard it (it's beautiful), I never understood the lyrics until now.

Here's "Disarm"...

Very sad, right?

OKAY, HELLO EVERYONE!

It's MONDAY!

I would like to say THANKS to those of you who called after learning of the F2 tornado that hit downtown Atlanta on Friday night. "Kev" (that's me) was not in Atlanta at the time and "Kev's" (still me) condo was not impacted. The tornado impacted many high rise buildings though and I have never seen anything like it in person before (oh, except for the time "we" (this time me and someone else) toured the ravaged aftermath of Florida's 1992 Hurricane Andrew. (That shiz was to' up fo sho.) Anyway, I hope they (the city) get this mess cleaned up quickly.

When I learned of the news, I almost immediately thought of THIS song... I hope you will watch/listen to it. For those of you who saw Helen Hunt/Bill Paxton's 1996 summer smash hit, "Twister," you may have heard this before. Stevie Nicks wrote/performed the title track, "Twisted," about storm chasers.

In addition to tumultuous natural disasters that scare me, this song reminds me of a person I dated for a brief (very brief) time in Chicago. (Am I sharing too much?) He was bi-polar (i.e., a crazy moody bastard). We saw this movie on our second date (of 3) and I later realized the significance of this. If I ever tell you that this song reminds me of you (as I did him), it isn't a good thing (I am insulting you). "You like to be wrapped up in the eye of the storm. Take it to the limit when the winds come up... Crazy men, crazy women... You like to be twisted, you like to be shaken." Anyhoo...

Moving along, "we" are very excited to see next week's "How I Met Your Mother" with guest star BRITNEY SPEARS! YAY! The promo's look GR-EAT.

Okay, that's it for today. (I'm tired.)

I hope you all have a fantastic Tuesday.

Much love -

Give Me Back My Man (Victoria Beckham)

It's... SATURDAY! WELCOME BACK! It's a brisk day here in A-Town. It actually snowed here this morning, can you believe it?

"Kev" is SUPER excited that he will be seeing Stevie Nicks again in just 5 short weeks! (YAY for me!)

Okay, "we" are really running out of creative/fun things to write here lately (have you noticed)? Should we "shut it down?" Send "us" your thoughts.

I have to say... I do feel sorry for the people who have happened upon the site for a serious medical condition called "blephoritis." You may recall that I mentioned my bout with blephoritis a little more than a year ago. Blephoritis is a condition of the eye (or more precisely, the eyelid) in which the eyelid becomes red/swollen because the tiny little glands in the lid are plugged/clogged and oils get trapped with no where to go. Anyhoo, more and more people are finding this site, searching for a cure/information, etc... regarding this condition. To those of you, I'm sorry. I'm just a homo with internet access trying to kill some time. "We" do not employ a physician here at the "Corner," so try WebMD or a more credible site. What I will tell you, however, is that if you suffer from blephoritis, as I do, it is important to keep your eyelids clean. Wash your eyelids with warm water and baby shampoo. If you wear contacts, change them often (don't wear them longer than they are intended). Finally, if you like this site, even though it's not what you were looking for, save us as a favorite (and let us know your progress).

What else? "Kev" spent a good part of the morning watching old Britney Spears videos. She really was "HOT" I think.

Okay, "we" are going to say goodbye for now. "We" hope YOU have a great Saturday night!

Love and hugs -

"Kev"

Here is my song to Victoria Beckham...

This Just In...

This just in... "Kev" (and friend) will be in the 2nd row, center, for Stevie's performance in Pennsylvania next month! Happy? Ecstatic.

Bye bitches!

"Kev"

Friday's HOT Guy...

He's here, he's queer, he's Friday's HOT Guy...

Welcome back folks! Today's HOT Guy is model/reality t.v. star, J.P. Calderon. You may know J.P. from CBS's "Survivor" or from Oxygen's "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency." J.P. is also on the cover of the March 2008 issue of "Instinct" magazine.

Anyhoo, please enjoy these pics of J.P..

Have a GR-EAT weekend everybody.

Much Friday love to you (it's better than Monday - Thursday love) -

"Kev"
