Not Ready To Make Nice
Look at YOU! You're BACK! (Or WELCOME if this is your first visit).
Monday, Monday. Gotta say, not my favorite day of the week...
Is everyone watching "The Amazing Race All-Stars" on CBS? This show draws me in every time! As someone who used to travel quite a bit, it reminds me of the times I too had to race through an airport somewhere, hoping to catch or get on an earlier flight, ending up in a city where I was often lost, only to rely on the kindness of "locals" to get where I was going. It's super fun. Anyways (again, that's how people in the mid-west say "anyway"), my thoughts so far are, 1) I am "voting" for Rob & Amber (of "Survivor" fame). I like these two and hope they win, and 2) I am, again, disappointed with the token "life partners," i.e., homos, on the show. This season it's Bill & Joe. They just can't represent like Reichen and Chip did. These two cry during challenges and, well, that bothers me. Buck it up boys and quit cryin'.
Does everyone remember the firestorm caused by Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks when she stated at a concert in London that she was embarrassed because the President of the United States is from Texas? Well, that statement was made four years ago today! Just this past weekend, "Kev" caught "Shut Up & Sing," which documented the Dixie Chicks from that very night forward. As everyone knows, "Kev" loves the Dixie Chicks, especially AFTER seeing this documentary. If you are a Dixie Chicks fan, you can rent this documentary at a Blockbuster near you (unless you live in Texas, where I can only imagine it is banned).
The Chick's Grammy award winning song, "Not Ready To Make Nice," was written about the controversy that began in London four years ago today, but the song holds a very different meaning for me. It is very prolific.
For your listening pleasure, please enjoy NOT READY TO MAKE NICE.
In celebrity birthdays, singer Andy Gibb was born on this day. He would have been 49-years-old today (except he died of a drug overdose).
Finally, today's pictures are of model T.J. Wilk who was featured in season one of "The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency" on the Oxygen Network, which is also now available on DVD. ("Kev" watches only the FINEST programs...) While we were saving these to feature T.J. as a "Friday HOT Guy," we just couldn't wait to share them with you. We hope you like T.J. as much as we do!
We hope you ALL have a GREAT week (but remember, "Kev" isn't ready to make nice, except with YOU, because, after all, how could he be mad at you...).

These are the pictures Grace talks about. Hot stuff!
LOL! Yes!
Thanks for talking this afternoon. You are the BEST Mom, EVER! Love, your other 12-year-old!
Can you bring him over to watch Oprah???
If I could bring him anywhere, we wouldn't be watching Oprah, if you know what I mean...
xoxo
