Actually, he is called "President Elect Obama" - provided the nasty birth certificate issue discovered by the Isreali press doesn't bite him in the arse.

amen! gobama!

sadly, az and ca passed their propositions against same-sex marriages. we will have states in our union change their CONSTITUTIONS to discriminate against fellow Americans. a bittersweet day...

Hi Naperville - why so negative? Sore loser? I know he's President-elect - just anxious/excited and ELATED that McCain and his half-wit running mate lost by a landslide. Still think she's a "wonderful woman?" I just have to ask... why do you keep visiting this blog? I mean that in the nicest way too - I felt a little bad for being so harsh of you previously/deleting your pro-Palin/anti civil rights comments, but I don't know why you keep coming here? Wouldn't you prefer to spend your time reading something else? We obviously have nothing in common.
I will never understand people/politicians/groups that impose their moral/religious beliefs on other people - especially beliefs that discriminate against others... If you're against same sex marriage - don't marry someone of the same sex. If you're against abortion - don't have an abortion. If God is the center of your life - GREAT for you. You get the idea...
I am sure you are elated that prop 8 was passed in California (just guessing that's how you feel based on prior comments you left here about Brad Pitt's donation to the cause - I think you referenced "a fool and his money" or something). I don't understand that. What business is it of yours or anyone's to deny couples the same basic rights enjoyed by heterosexual couples? It's very backwards and sad to me. You will probably never experience injustice/inequality (I lived in Naperville - I know the demographic). Anyway, I can't stop you from reading this blog but I don't understand your interest - why you would spend a second of your day here.

well said kev, i was going to send a blistering email and withheld b/c i thought it might be a "real" reader pulling your chain. Naperville, start a blog yourself and display your ignorance there. we here, that appreciate the corner, stray from your lack of intelligence and have a happy home. we are delighted to have a new "44TH PRESIDENT", elect or not, he will be your president and ours. use some true intellect and support the man that will be next president of our country. listen to what both McCain and Bush, Jr. said last night and tonight.

we'll still gay relationships. many of those relationships will last longer than any marriage. unfortunately, our basic rights will continue to be violated. no amendment and no "praying out the gay" will stop that.

love too all the rest.

and whooo hooo OBAMA, the 44th President of the United States of America.

Mr. P

P.S. I think Naperville keeps reading and tuning in b/c he loves the hot pics and wants a little arse of his own.
