Friday's HOT Guy...

It's FRIDAY! You know what that means... (You do know what that means don't you? Let us know!)

I have to admit, I only know one thing about today's "HOT Guy" (that he's hot...). If you follow Wimbledon (going on now through July 8th) then you may know that THIS is 27-year-old Russian tennis player Marat Safin, who WAS ranked #1 in the world.

To visit Marat's official site, (because I really don't feel like doing any research today) click HERE.

BEFORE...

AFTER...

"Kev" met former Largo City, Florida, City Manager Steve, er, Susan Stanton at last week's Pride Festival in Atlanta. I have nothing to say other than that I met her and she was very nice (and that she still walks like a man, sort of clunky/Herman Munster like, but I attribute some of that to the fact she is just learning to walk in those heels). (I was a little drunk, so I don't recall much else. You understand, right? I think my friend Ken (yes, "sistah") wanted to get me away from him/her as quickly as possible. I think I behaved pretty well though.) If you are not familiar with his/her story (it's so confusing, isn't it?), he was a very competent, professional city official FIRED for becoming a "she." He/she is fighting to win his/her job back. BEST OF LUCK SUSAN! (Aren't we really "in-depth" here? We delve in and present every angle to every story, always stimulating thought-provoking conversation, right?) The only thing I have to say is that I am glad I am just a regular old gay. No more. No less. Uncomplicated. I don't feel like a woman trapped in a man's body and I have no desire to wear women's clothing (unless it's Halloween and I am Joan Crawford, because, let's face it, that's funny).

There are a TON of movies out this weekend. "Sicko," "Ocean's Thirteen," "Live Free Or Die Hard," etc.. Go see one!

Finally, please enjoy this video of gay pop duo, Jason and deMarco! I have NEVER heard of these two until today. (Apparently, they performed at Atlanta's Gay Pride Festival, but I was VERY busy doing other gay things and did not catch their performance.) They are VERY gay (I have to admit, I laughed, hard, when I watched this video)... Thanks Mr. P.

By the way (sidebar to Mr. P.), the fact that you attended "True Colors" earned you enough GP's, that's "gay points" for those of you unfamiliar with the system, for the remainder of 2007. Since you also actually watched (and recommended) Jason and deMarco, you now have a surplus of GP's upwards of 57,000 (you only need 10,000 per year). (And these are only for activities you have submitted for credit - we assume you have done some very gay things we aren't aware of.) You are eligible to carry over GP's earned into 2008 or cash them all in for a free month at that camp we discussed in yesterday's post. Be careful not to do anything to jeopardize your standings, like not knowing all of the words to Debbie Gibson's "Electric Youth" or wearing tee-shirts, socks, etc. with holes in them ("Kev" made that mistake and was docked 1,500 GP's on the spot). Since you have a surplus of points, you are exempt from the live/stage verison of "Dreamgirls" (now at the Fox Theatre) and you are excused from Armistead Maupin's book signing/meet and greet. ("Kev's Corner" is also the official accounting firm of "GP International," founded by our very own Princess.)

That's it bitches! Have a GREAT weekend!

Much love,

"Kev"

straight or gay, I don't know how anyone can sing right into someone else's face without totally cracking up. I could never stand to be serenaded.

The girls in the video really threw me. What was their purpose? Is the song about friendship/love, etc.? (It's anyone's guess, right?) Anyhoo, this video cracked me up. To be young and super gay...
I am loving this GP concept you developed! Still, after 3 weeks, cracks me up!

OK, so after watching the video. a) I totally agree with Princess. I would not make throuh a verse. b) I totally deserved the your are sooooo gaaay comment via email. Nevertheless (is that really a word), I like the song and think deMarco is cute. I'm so excited to have so many gp's. Did I can some more by watching two songs by Levi Kreis and being so excited that my friend Patrick and I skipped hand in hand through the park..... no that's gay. Mr. P

Yes, "nevertheless" (to my knowledge) is a word (any of our school teachers here, please correct me if I am wrong). I do not have the ability to edit comments (I can only DELETE them). Of COURSE I know about the ballet... (Hey, I forgot to claim that for points!) I would have paid to see you skip! I am sorry I missed that! Did you watch Debbie Gibson? I looked for you.
Kisses!

GP's are a very important component of the gay life. I say this, of course, as a straight woman. I do not know where I get my expertise, but the staff at the corner believe in me so I will continue to run wild with GP Power.

Mr. P, you're doing well. Kev is doing some recovery work, reclaiming some GP's after some unfortunate incidents. I think he probably did a lot of work last Sunday. He didn't mention if he did any skipping...

You "slay" me! Everything you say cracks me up! Why aren't you touring the country or being featured in a reality show?
XOXOXO
