Bailamos Juan

Cuál está encima de perras? In case you haven't listened to your "Drive & Learn Spanish" CD's, like me, this means, "What's up bitches?" ("Bailamos Juan?" i.e., "Shall we dance, Juan?" is the only Spanish I remember. Really, it's all the Spanish one needs.) We are all about the culture here at the "Corner."

How are YOU today (really, "we" want to know). It's SATURDAY, the BEST day of the week, in my opinion. (As a matter of fact, what are you doing here? Get out and do something f-u-n, fun!)

I know this is "old" news, but did anyone catch "Supernanny" on Thursday night? It seems this is the only show I (unintentionally) watch anymore. I don't even have children. (It's the only thing on when I am ready to relax in front of the television.) The formula is the same every week but the cast of characters changes. You've seen it, you know... Inept parents - mom is at the end of her rope, can't quite discipline the kids, that wine bottle is her only friend, while dad is away, i.e., nowhere to be found. Occasionally the Grandma makes an appearance but just fucks things up even worse with her mixed messages. "Swear for Grandma, come on, Grandma won't tell." "Fuck the naughty chair!" All the while, the little bastards (the children, I mean) run amok until Nanny Jo stops in for the week, points out the error of the parents ways, introduces some old fashioned British discipline and revolutionizes the families behaviors in just one hour. A real miracle worker, I think. Anyways, I didn't have anything else to write about today, so I thought I'd ask if anyone had watched "Supernanny." (I heard there is a great new show called "Juvie" which brings us, the viewer, into the juvenile detention centers around the country. It's where you end up I suppose if Supernanny can't do anything for you.

Okay, I really have no idea what I am writing about at this point, so let's cut our losses and call it a day, okay.

I hope YOU have a GR-EAT Saturday!

Bailamos, bitches!

Kev neglected to mention that he ran the Pride Run this morning. Let's all give him a pat on the back (or tushie) and say "way to go, Kev!".
