HELLO EVERYONE!

It is snowing, yes, I said it, SNOWING, here in the A-T-L!

Who cares about the snow though because BRITNEY SPEARS will be here (at Philips Arena) THIS Thursday promoting her latest CD, "Circus". While I am morally opposed to the circus (elephants should be running in the jungle, not doing hand stands in a tent for children and let's be real - clowns are scary), I can't WAIT to see Britney's circus!

Where will I (and friend) be sitting, you might ask? Row 1 of the V-I-HOLLA- P section, which, for "Circus," is called "the ring." Excited? Most certainly (the show will be performed in the round with general admission standing BUT there is one row of VIP seats next to the stage). Who died and went to gay Heaven? Me! ("Pre-concert party" at my crib!) For those of you tracking your 2009 GP's (that's gay points, you know, to hold your standing), the show is worth 1,000 points. If you are in the front row of the VIP section, your points are multiplied by 100 giving you (let me run the numbers..) 10,000 points! (Yes, I consulted the official guide for 2009.) An extra 500 points are awarded if you host the pre-concert party and ADDITIONAL points may be granted on the quality/creativity of the pre-party itself, you know, decorate like a circus, serve peanuts, hire some creepy paparazzi, answer the door dressed as Britney strapped to a gurney - you get it (so I have some work to do...).

UPDATE -

It's just another great night to be gay (or straight!). Fleetwood Mac's "Unleashed" tour opened tonight and I have been getting "up to the minute" reports on the set list and costumes! It is just VERY exciting stuff. They are performing some songs they have never performed live before! Yes, I have a VIP/meet and greet ticket for that show too... No, I am never going to be able to retire.
