Welcome BACK everybody. We hope you had a GR-EAT week!

Here are the week's news highlights (since we know you rely on us to keep you "in the know").

Paris Hilton has dropped her appeal and will serve a minimum of 23 days in an L.A. County jail for violating the terms of her probation. GODSPEED Paris! (I am worried about her...)

Farewell Falwell. (What else is there to say?)

Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have "called it quits." Do people really talk like that? "So, Sue, how are things with Stan?" "We called it quits. We respectfully request our privacy during this difficult time."


Yesterday, May 17, was "International Day Against Homophobia" (and we forgot to write about it...). Click HERE to read all about it (and then let us know what you learn, since we didn't "read up" on it ourselves).


As everyone knows, because "Kev" has written about it ad nauseum, Stevie Nicks kicked off her "Crystal Visions" summer tour YESTERDAY in California (with Chris Isaak, today's "HOT Guy").

Stevie (and Chris) will be here in A-town on June 4th and 5th and "Kev" will be attending BOTH shows (but unfortunately, not in the first, second or third rows. Not even the 10th. Yes, I am slumming it this time but will be in GR-EAT company and may just get drunk). ALSO, now this is the super exciting part... B ex BFF (again, for those of you who are new, this is our 12-year-old girl "speak" for "BEST EX-BOYFRIEND FOREVER"), Steve, called just moments ago indicating that we WOULD be going to the show in Chicago on June 8th (in the 3rd row)! For anyone counting, (I know, none of you are counting...) the show on June 8th will mark the 45th time "Kev" has seen Stevie perform. As an aside... I have to tell you that since last reporting the number of times I have seen Stevie perform, I came across a framed picture of Stevie including a ticket stub that had not been counted previously, so this "upped" that number from 40 to 41. Then, I saw her in March which brought that number to 42. "We" apologize for this oversight and have revised our accounting policies and procedures (to never omit items placed in frames). Anyhoo, we are looking forward to shows #43, #44 and #45!

As mentioned yesterday, "Kev" will be meeting another guy who has been featured HERE as a Friday HOT Guy! Can you believe it? I will do my DARNDEST to bring back a picture or two, which is sometimes difficult since I don't own a camera. A few people have asked, "WHO are you meeting?" My response has been, "I can't tell you." (Although we did tell "Princess" because, come on, we tell her everything.)


The "Kev's Corner" tee-shirts are making there way out into the world. If you would like to snag one of these for your very own, make sure to come back bright and early NEXT Friday, May 25th, where we will have another "Corner Contest." If I were a betting 'mo ('mo's bet too you know), I would say that the topic of our contest questions will be Stevie Nicks related, so you may want to search the blog for "Stevie Nicks" so you can QUICKLY enter your responses.

Our May "celebration" will continue NEXT week, when we "feature" a really "special" person whom "Kev" thinks the world of.
