Bringing Sexy Back

Today is the day we have all been waiting for... Justin Timberlake's latest CD, "FutureSex/LoveSounds," featuring, "SexyBack," is now available in stores (scream)!

The photo above is, yes, "Kev" in the early '70's. You see, I have already posted a picture of Justin, so instead of "overexposing" him here at the "Corner," I thought I would just put one up of myself back when I was Justin's age.

(I can't wait to see how "sexy" Justin is at 40...Bitter? Maybe...)

Other news of the day...You may have heard that Anna Nicole Smith's son, Daniel, who was just 20 years old, died over the weekend. It is always very sad to me when a young person loses their life. While I don't think Anna stops in here at "Kev's Corner," all of us here (OK, I am still the only one here) is very sorry to learn this news and our hearts, again, just mine, goes out to her...

"Kev" would like to "rant" a bit, something he really isn't comfortable doing (at least here at the "Corner"). I would like to announce that I no longer support P.E.T.A, "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" and would like back the $25.00 I have so generously donated over the past 25 years... OK, "Kev" has actually donated more than that to their cause, but nobody here needs to know "Kev's" business, except for "Kev's" accountant. These P.E.T.A. people are simply nuts. I liken them to Marshall Applewhite's "Heaven's Gate" cult. Remember them? They died, by committing suicide, while waiting for a spaceship to pick them up.

I was first "upset" with P.E.T.A. when they threw flour on Paris Hilton because she wore fur during a runway modeling gig. While "Kev" loves ALL living creatures, (especially blonde, muscular beach types), won't kill a bug and am opposed to any practice that causes harm and torture to any living thing, I do not like P.E.T.A.'s tactics.

Earlier this year P.E.T.A. bid on an auction for a dinner with singer Beyonce, and won, for the sole purpose of berating her for also wearing fur.

You may have heard yesterday that a P.E.T.A. representative issued the following statement about Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin...

"He made a career out of antagonizing frightened wild animals," says PETA's Dan Mathews, "which is a very dangerous message to send to kids." Mathews sniffs that Irwin's career wasn't particularly impressive – at least not to him: "If you compare him with a responsible conservationist like Jacques Cousteau, he looks like a cheap reality TV star."

This was the straw that broke the camel's back P.E.T.A!

Please, do not support P.E.T.A.! Divert any funds you would contribute to P.E.T.A. to community-based, no kill animal shelters in your area whose proceeds are used solely for the care and welfare of animals in need. Or send your money to "Kev" so he can buy Justin's new CD.
