Landslide

Welcome back hookers! (Did everyone remember our new word?)

TODAY marks our 655th post here at The Corner and we're glad you are here to celebrate with us.

Some of you may know that I am somewhat of a Stevie Nicks fan. What? You didn't know that? (Hee hee!) It's true... I love her. Anyhoo, I came across this performance of a very old song - one that never gets old to me. Enjoy....

Alrighty, I gotta go. I hope YOU have a GR-EAT weekend.

Hugs and love to you -

Kevin

XIEXIE

Sup? Do you like the picture of Stevie Nicks above?

"We" are not sure if anyone stops in here anymore but if you do, we say THANKS, or, in simplified Chinese, XIEXIE! "We" admit, "we've" lost our mojo. "We" are very, very, very busy and well, The Corner has taken a back seat. Plus, hold on to your skirts, I'M DATING! YAY! (And the person actually likes me, which is always a plus in my relationships.)

What's new with you bitches? Can you believe it is almost August? Where does the time go?

"We" learned some new words! One of them is "hooker." If we call you a "hooker," like "bitch," it is also a term of endearment. If we call you a "hooker bitch," well, then you are REALLY special.

"Kev" is getting ready to run the first ever Rock 'N Roll Half Marathon in CHICAGO this Sunday! YAY! The 13.1 mile run will wind through the streets of Chicago, my former hometown. The race starts at 6:30 a.m. and I will be running under the alias of "Sara" because I did not register in time and had to purchase Sara's race number from her! XIEXIE, Sara!

"We" have no idea what is going on in pop culture? "We're" a poor excuse for a gay man's blog. "We" haven't even watched television in MONTHS. Perhaps YOU could enlighten us.

Okay, we gotta go you hooker bitches.

"We" hope you enjoy the rest of the week!

Until next time,

Forever Kev, hooker bitch.

Click RADAR to watch Britney Spears' song which reminds me of, well, not you. LOL!

Regeneration Tour '09

WUZ UP EVERYONE?

It's THURSDAY here at "The Corner" and, as always, we say THANKS for stoppin' in!

Okay, I love summer. I love concerts. I love summer concerts! The "Regeneration Tour" made its' stop (the last of the month-long tour) here in Atlanta last night at Chastain Park! "Kev" was THERE (with a very hot, hottie McHottersen whom I just love, but that's not really germane to this post). So what is the "Regeneration Tour," you might ask? Regeneration is comprised of five 80's groups including Wang Chung ("Everybody Have Fun Tonight," "Let's Go," "Dance Hall Days"), Cutting Crew ("I've Been In Love Before," "I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight"), Berlin, ("Metro"), ABC ("The Look of Love") and Missing Persons (who were not in Atlanta - they were actually missing). The show was f-u-n, fun! I was surprised that I knew so many of the songs! What a great decade for music. Did I mention that my "date" was as hot as a summer night in Atlanta? (If you haven't been here in July, it's off the charts uncomfortable hot.) Anyhoo, I forgot what else I was going to share about the evening's event. OH, I think the best part was I didn't have to plan a thing, pay for the tickets or dinner/drinks! Did I mention that my "date" is super HOT? I did? Alright.

Here are some videos for your viewing pleasure...

And click LET'S GO to see Wang Chung perform "Let's Go!" (I like this song!)

Alright, I gotta get outta here now and create some new memories! Here's to your new memories too!

Wang Chung (tonight)!

NYC Bound

Hey folks! Happy SATURDAY! It's a GREAT day here in the A-T-L. Simply beautiful.

I am really running out of steam here with this silly blog. Just don't know what to write about lately? I don't even know who is celebrating their birthday or what is going on in Hollywood. I shouldn't tell you this but I don't even have cable. No Bravo, no MTV, not even CNN.

Anyone taking a summer vacation or "holiday?" Tell "us" about it! "We" want to know! "Kev" is planning a trip to NYC. Excited? For sure. I am ashamed to admit that I haven't spent much time in NYC so I have a lot of catching up to do. I am looking forward to running in Central Park, taking in a Broadway show and seeing all of the sites (and buying clothes from my favorite designer, Ben Sherman, from the largest Macy's in the world). I do have a friend who works for MTV who is promising me a tour, so I am NYC bound. Anyhoo, "we'll" let you know how that trip goes.

I meant to share the picture above on the 4th of July but didn't get around to it. This guy's ab's look just like mine! (No lie.) Okay, so they aren't exactly like mine but close. Okay, they aren't close. Alright, not even close. Ah, who cares right? They are probably painted on and air brushed anyway.

Well, I am going to make like a tree and get outta here. I hope YOU, even YOU, (I have no enemies today) have a GREAT weekend! THANKS for stoppin' in!

Peachtree Road Race 2009

Sup y'all? I hope YOU are well on this Tuesday evening!

"Kev" (still third person reference to self - gays like to do this) is SUPER excited about the prospect of seeing his 55th Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks concert at Wembley Arena in LONDON (my home away from home). The Mac will embark on the European leg of their "Unleashed" tour this fall and "Kev" has secured tickets for one of the three shows at Wembley Arena! (I have until tomorrow to "back out," so I am giving this some considerable consideration.)

Did everyone catch the Michael Jackson memorial today? I missed it. All of it. Not intentionally of course, I just couldn't take the day away from the office to watch it.

July 4th marked the 40th Peachtree Road Race here in Atlanta. While I have lived in Atlanta since 2002, this was my FIRST Peachtree Road Race. I will just tell you... Of the 51,000 people participating, I finished in 53 minutes and was the 5,096 person to cross the finish line. It's always fun running down streets you normally only drive on. What was "weird" was running through red lights you would normally stop at. Anyhoo, the picture above was taken after the run. I will post "action" photos soon.

Okay, speaking of running, I gotta run.

I hope you are all s-w-e-l-l.
